To me, photography is an art of observation. It's about finding something interesting in an ordinary place… ...even in our Clivia nursery. One doesn't stop seeing. One doesn't stop framing.
It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera… to me, they are made with the eye, heart, and mind.
In photography, the smallest thing can be a great subject.
Although it is part of Clivia breeding and record keeping to photograph the flowers every season, I like to look at more than just the flower. I would often see the artistic beauty in a seed head, or a leaf or even a single flower.
